L3* pages actions reference

L3 reports

NDAT provides following actions related to L3 report generation:

• L3 -> Reports -> IP addressing reports – forms detailed IP address plan; addresses of single interfaces can be refreshed automatically; selected interfaces reports and profiled reports are supported.

• L3 -> Reports -> BGP Sessions report – forms detailed BGP session report with auto vars substitution.

• L3 -> Reports -> Static routes report – forms static routes reports; selected routes reports and profiled reports are supported;

• L3 -> Reports -> VRF report – forms VRF report; selected VRFs reports and profiled reports are supported.

L3 checks

NDAT provides following actions related to L3 diagram checks:

• L3 -> Checks -> Check all subnets and loopbacks shapes – check that all subnets and Loopbacks drawn correctly;

• L3 -> Checks -> Check selected subnets and loopbacks shapes – check that selected subnets and Loopbacks drawn correctly;

• L3 -> Checks -> Check all BGP sessions shapes – check that all BGP sessions drawn correctly;

• L3 -> Checks -> Check selected BGP sessions – check that selected BGP sessions drawn correctly.

L3 updates and refreshments

NDAT provides following actions related to L3 updates and refreshments:

• L3 -> Update and refresh -> Renumber all L3 interfaces – renumber all addresses (Last octets) and names of all drawn L3 interfaces;

• L3 -> Update and refresh -> Update all gateways – refresh all gateway addresses in all static routes;

• L3 -> Update and refresh -> Update RD or RT -> Generate RD – generate RD for all VRFs (except excluded) according to VRFs properties;

• L3 -> Update and refresh -> Update RD or RT -> Set RD to Auto – clear all RDs to «Auto» for all VRFs (except excluded);

• L3 -> Update and refresh -> Update RD or RT -> Set symmetric RTi/RTe (AS:VPNID) – generate symmetric RTi/RTe in AS:VPNID format for all VRFs (except excluded).

Dictionary data distribution

NDAT provides following actions related to Dictionary data distribution:

• L3 -> Distribute from dictionaries -> BGP AS – distribute BGP AS Numbers over all L3* pages;

• L3 -> Distribute from dictionaries -> VPN ID – distribute VPN IDs over all L3* pages;

• L3 -> Distribute from dictionaries -> L3 device loopbacks - distribute Loopback IPs over all L3* pages;

• L3 -> Distribute from dictionaries -> L3VNI - distribute L3VNI over all L3* pages (L3VNI is a property of l3vrf and l3devicevrf).

L3 shapes context menus

NDAT provides following shape context menu actions:

• l3ibgpHub -> Show description – run l3ibgpHub processing and show text description, including drawing mistakes;

• l3ebgpHub -> Show description – run l3ebgpHub processing and show text description, including drawing mistakes;

• l3bgpsession -> Show description – run l3bgpsession processing and show text description, including drawing mistakes;

• l3staticroute -> Complete Gateway – refresh l3staticroute shape property (gateway address forms according to glued l3port or l3sharedip).
